How to play Mahjong 3D
Mahjong 3D is a free daily tile-matching game. Match pairs of free tiles on a rotating 3D structure, chain combos for bonus points, and clear as many puzzles as you can in one six minute run per day.
How to play
Match two free tiles
Tap two tiles with the same symbol to clear them. A tile is free when no tile sits directly on top of it and at least one of its left or right sides is open.
Rotate to find matches
Use the rotate arrows or swipe the structure to orbit around it and reveal hidden tiles. Rotation only changes your view. It never changes which tiles are free.
Chain combos for big points
Each pair scores 15 points. Match within 3 seconds of your last match for a x2 Speed Match, or match the same symbol again for a x5 Multi Match.
Clear structures before time runs out
Finishing a structure banks 1000 bonus points and immediately loads a bigger, harder one. The 6:00 session timer never pauses.
One run per day
You get one timed attempt each day. Your score is saved, and the real goal is beating your own personal best.
Tips
- Work from the top of the structure down. Upper tiles block everything beneath them.
- Chase Multi Match chains: spotting a third and fourth copy of the symbol you just cleared is worth five times the points.
- Rotate early and often. The best match is frequently on the face you cannot see.
- Save your reshuffle for the bigger structures where dead ends are more likely.
About Mahjong 3D
Mahjong 3D reimagines classic mahjong solitaire as a fully three-dimensional, time-pressured daily challenge. Instead of a flat spread of tiles, each puzzle is a stacked cube structure you can orbit around, with symbols visible on every exposed face. The matching rule is streamlined from the classic game: a tile only needs a clear top and one open side to be playable.
Every board is generated with a solvability guarantee: tiles are placed in reverse clearing order, so a full clear is always mathematically reachable, and the once-per-structure reshuffle uses the same method. Sessions escalate through a fixed difficulty ladder, from the compact Starter Block through the Twin Tower and Cross Spire to a rotating pool of irregular Mega Structures.
Mahjong 3D is free to play in your browser on desktop and mobile with no download. One six minute run per calendar day keeps it fair, your daily score and all-time personal best are saved automatically, and streak rewards from the wider 100 Daily Games platform apply.
Frequently asked questions
Is Mahjong 3D free to play?
Yes. Mahjong 3D is completely free in your browser. It is a daily game, so it never shows interstitial ads, and Plus members see no ad surfaces anywhere on the platform.
How is Mahjong 3D different from classic mahjong solitaire?
The board is a rotating 3D structure instead of a flat layout, the run is timed, and the match rule is simpler: a tile is free when nothing is on top of it and its left or right side is open.
Can a puzzle become unsolvable?
No. Boards are built by placing matched pairs in reverse clearing order, so a full clear is always possible. You also get one reshuffle per structure, plus an automatic safety reshuffle if you ever run out of moves.
How do the score multipliers work?
A pair is worth 15 points. Matching within 3 seconds of your previous match doubles it, and matching the same symbol as your previous match multiplies it by five. When both apply you get the x5, not both.
