How to play Streakle

Streakle is a free daily word game. Five five-letter words a day, solved back to back, with fewer guesses as the run gets harder. Solve all five and you win the day. A single miss ends the run.

How to play

  1. Guess the 5-letter word

Type any valid 5-letter English word and press Enter to submit your guess.

  2. Read the color clues

Green = correct letter in the right spot. Yellow = correct letter, wrong spot. Gray = letter is not in the word.

  3. Watch your guesses shrink

Level 1 gives you five tries, levels 2 to 4 give you four, and the final word gives you three. The board shows exactly how many you have left.

  4. Climb five levels

Every solve moves you up a level and the words get harder. Five levels is the whole run.

  5. Win the day

Solve all five and the run is complete. Miss one and the run ends there. Either way a fresh five arrives tomorrow.

Tips

  • Open with a word that uses common vowels and consonants (e.g. CRANE, SLATE, ROAST).
  • Use your second guess to test 5 brand-new letters when possible.
  • Track yellow letters carefully. Moving them to the right spot wins puzzles fast.
  • Difficulty rises with every level, and the final word gives you only three guesses. Bank your information early.

About Streakle

Streakle is a free, browser-based daily word game inspired by classic 5-letter guessing puzzles like Wordle. Where most word games end after a single puzzle, Streakle gives you five, and they have to be solved back to back: a fresh sequence of five five-letter words every day, each one harder than the last, with a single miss ending the run. Solve all five and you have won the day.

The game is designed for short, satisfying daily sessions. A new run of five drops every day at midnight Eastern Time, the same words in the same order for every player, and your completed runs, total solves, and global rank are tracked across sessions when you sign in. Streakle works on desktop, tablet, and mobile with no install required, and it lives inside the broader 100 Daily Games puzzle ecosystem alongside other daily brain games.

If you enjoy Wordle, Quordle, Octordle, Hurdle, or other 5-letter word puzzles, Streakle adds a layer of escalating challenge: the words get harder at every level, the final one gives you only three guesses, and the run-ending stakes turn each guess into a small high-pressure decision. It is a vocabulary game, a logic puzzle, and a five-step gauntlet rolled into one quick daily ritual.

Frequently asked questions

How do you play Streakle?

Guess the hidden 5-letter word before you run out of tries. Green tiles mean the letter is correct and in the right spot, yellow means correct letter but wrong spot, and gray means the letter is not in the word. Solve all five words in the day's run to win.

How is Streakle different from Wordle?

Wordle is one puzzle a day. Streakle gives you five, back to back, each harder than the last and with fewer guesses as you go. A single failed puzzle ends the run, so the stakes rise with every solve - and solving all five wins the day.

When does the daily puzzle reset?

A fresh run of five unlocks every day at midnight US Eastern Time. The countdown to the next run is shown after you finish.

Is Streakle free to play?

Yes. Streakle is completely free to play in your browser. No download or account is required, though signing in lets you sync your runs and appear on the global leaderboard.

Does difficulty change as my streak grows?

Yes. Each of the five levels draws from a harder band of words than the one before, and the guess budget tightens from five at level 1 to three at level 5.
