How to play Water Sort
Water Sort is a free liquid sorting puzzle. Tap to pour the top color from one glass vial into another until every vial holds a single color.
How to play
Pick a mode and level
Choose Easy, Medium, or Large. Each mode has 100 levels that get more tangled as you go. The first 10 of each are free.
Select a vial
Tap any vial with liquid in it. It lifts to show it is selected and ready to pour.
Pour into a legal vial
Tap a second vial to pour. A pour is legal when the target has space and is either empty or shows the same color on top.
Sort every color
The level is complete when every vial is empty or filled with four segments of one color. Finished vials glow.
Use boosters when stuck
Undo is always free. Spend stars on a hint or one extra empty vial when a level gets tight.
Tips
- Empty vials are your most valuable resource. Avoid filling them with mixed colors early.
- Pour whole color runs instead of single segments whenever you can.
- Uncover buried colors first; a color trapped under three others is the real puzzle.
- Before buying the extra vial, check whether a few undos solve the jam for free.
About Water Sort
Water Sort on 100 Daily Games is a classic liquid sorting puzzle with a clean, glassy look. Colorful water sits layered inside slim vials; tap one vial and then another, and the top run of matching color pours across with a satisfying tilt and stream. Sort every color into its own vial to finish the level.
Every level is generated deterministically and proven solvable before it reaches your screen, so level 42 in Large mode is the same fair puzzle for everyone. Difficulty scales the number of colors, the spare space available, and how thoroughly the liquid is scrambled: Easy starts with four colors and gentle mixing, while Large packs eight colors into tightly interleaved vials that demand planning.
The game is built for one-handed play: generous tap targets, a clear lift on the selected vial, pulsing highlights on legal targets, and a gentle shake when a pour is not allowed. Undo is free and unlimited, while hints and an extra vial are available for stars when a layout gets genuinely knotty.
Like every game on 100 Daily Games, Water Sort runs free in your browser with no download. The first ten levels of each mode are free; the deeper ninety levels of each mode are part of 100 Daily Games Plus.
Frequently asked questions
How do I finish a level in Water Sort?
Rearrange the liquid until every non-empty vial holds four segments of a single color. Finished vials glow, and the level ends when every color is sorted.
Why can't I pour into a vial?
A pour needs two things: free space in the target vial, and a color match. The target must be empty or show the same color on top as the liquid you are pouring.
Are the levels random?
No. All 300 levels are generated from fixed seeds and checked by a solver before they load, so every level is identical for every player and always solvable from the start.
What do Undo, Hint, and Add Vial do?
Undo rewinds your last pour for free. Hint highlights a recommended pour for 5 stars. Add Vial adds one extra empty vial for 10 stars, once per level.
Is Water Sort free?
Levels 1 to 10 of each mode are free to play in your browser. Levels 11 to 100 of each mode are included with 100 Daily Games Plus.
